Just in time for Christmas! Come and make four hand-made gifts, while learning some woodshop fundamentals.

Students will learn to carve a spoon, shape a wooden comb, create a train whistle and make a nutcracker.

This course will be offered in four classes over two weeks and will make use of both power and hand tools. Students may have the opportunity to learn to use (or practice using) the lathe (optional). Students will learn of some jigs for the planer, drill press, table saw and band saw, and will also be introduced to chasing threads in wood.

Materials will be supplied ($60 materials cost). Safety Card not required for this course.
