Intarsia is a woodworking technique that uses varied shapes, sizes and colours of natural wood fitted together to create a mosaic-like picture with an illusion of depth. You will learn to transfer a pattern to the wood, cut out each piece and fit the pieces together. One project will be completed in the class and materials will be supplied. There will be a materials fee of $20. Please bring a dust mask if you have one. Safety card is not required for this course.
