Case Goods Cabinetry
This intermediate level course will focus on the basic principles of how to build a night table (base cabinet) and a five-piece door using sheet goods (plywood) and some hardwoods. This type of building is called case goods construction which is the foundation of kitchens and other cabinet making. We will explore a variety of joinery methods such as dados, rabbets, biscuits, and dowels. And learn several options to dress the edges of plywood.

Router Essentials
Bring your own router (in good working order) or use one of ours. Course will cover types of routers, router tables, collets, bases, bits, how to hold and safety operate the router. Techniques and jigs for routing dados, rabbets, dovetails, joinery, and edge decoration. Demonstration and hands-on. Safety Card not required for this course.!

Wood Inlay - Level 2
Prerequisite: Wood Inlay Level 1 Course
This is the next step in learning to do wood inlays. You will learn the advanced technique of making “constructs” where intricate pieces are preassembled before inlaying into your piece. Materials will be supplied. Please bring your inlay knife. This course is taught by George Stevens, author of The Art of Wood Inlay. Safety Card Not required for this course.

Wood shop safety orientation
Do not take this course if you are planning on attending the Introduction to Woodworking class. This class is for experienced woodworkers only, who would like to use the wood shop on a drop-in basis. This one time class will acquaint you with the safety procedures of the wood shop and the safety concerns with each major piece of equipment. The Safety Card will be given upon completion of this course.
